We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a fixed-term contract. This role is essential in providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment. The successful candidate will be required to work on-call and possess transport to comply with the mobility needs across the facility.
- Deliver comprehensive patient care in anaesthetics, PACU, recovery, scrub/scout roles within the theatre setting.
- Assist in the deployment of services across the facility as needed.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and standards in line with organizational policies.
- Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to provide optimal patient outcomes.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) with AHPRA.
- Proven experience in anaesthetics, PACU, recovery, scrub/scout roles.
- Competency in triage and emergency nursing is advantageous.
- Ability and willingness to assist in various areas across the facility.
- Valid working rights in Australia.
- On-call duty is required.
- Own transport is necessary for travel to and from the facility.
- Deployment to assist across the facility is required.

- Current AHPRA registration (printed online check)
- Evidence of VPD (Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hep B, Varicella)
- Evidence of Pertussis vaccination within the last 10 years
- Current photo identification (certified)
- Proof of eligibility to work in Australia (if applicable)
- Evidence of current training for required skills
- General Criminal History Check Certificate or confirmation statement as mentioned above
Please note travel and accommodation arrangements will be provided from Brisbane to the contract location, with travel costs capped at $200.00 each way.
